Yasser Yaqub ’s practice focuses on energy and infrastructure projects as well as privatizations and mergers and acquisitions relating to sectors as diverse as power, water, shipping, mining, telecommunications and oil and gas.

Yasser has significant recent experience in renewable power having last year closed, while advising the sponsors, the 50 MW Bokpoort CSP project in South Africa (which was awarded ‘Africa Renewable Deal of the Year 2013’ by Project Finance International) as well as being involved in advising the lenders on the 117 MW Tafila Wind Power Project in Jordan (awarded the ‘Middle East Renewables Deal of the Year 2013’ by Project Finance Magazine).
