Mr. Sinare Zaharan is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania. The primary focus of practice is in litigation and dispute resolution on commercial matters and labour/employment relations.

Mr. Sinare provides advisory services on employment relations to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and, when requested, conducts training to encourage good employment practices.

Also, he has experience in regulatory matters for natural resources, telecommunications, forestry and agriculture sectors. In this regard, Mr. Zaharan advises and assists clients in developing legal compliance registers as complaint tools and conducts legal compliance audits to ensure and confirm compliance.

Employment Law Practice:

Services offered by Rex in this area include review of employment policies, preparation of employment contracts, review of restructuring plans in relation to employment issues, procedures to downsizing businesses and reviewing of employment claims, including litigation.

Rex has undertaken a thorough review of the changes in the employment and labour legislation, namely the Employment and Labour Relations Act No. 6 of 2004. As a result of this review, Rex has been requested by many companies to assist them in reviewing their labour policies in light of the changes in the labour laws.

With the global economic downturn of 2008 and the consequent downsizing of some companies, Rex advised corporate clients on redundancies and has been actively involved in advising its clients on compliance with statutory procedures.
