Sarah received her J.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2006, graduating in the top quarter of her class. Prior to that, she obtained her B.S. in Business Administration (Marketing Emphasis) from the University of South Dakota. After law school, Sarah clerked for the Fifth Judicial Circuit Court in Aberdeen, South Dakota.
Sarah’s practice focuses primarily on civil litigation in the areas of employment law, civil rights, and construction disputes. She also provides consulting services to employers and small businesses. She is licensed to practice in South Dakota and Missouri and is admitted in the District Court for the District of South Dakota, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Sarah has an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

We represent both employers and employees in Title VII, ADA, and ADEA discrimination cases, contract disputes (including non-compete agreements), issues surrounding termination and separation of employment, and issues concerning Fair Labor Standards Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, and other federal and state employment laws.
