Klaus Henrik Wiese-Hansen is a Partner at Steenstrup Stordranges office in Oslo and is associated the firm’s corporate department.
Wiese-Hansen has extensive and broad experience related to financial law and asset management. He has in the last 14 years assisted a large number of Norwegian and foreign financial institutions, investment firms and asset managers with all aspects relating to the establishment, organization, operation and reorganization of their businesses. He has extensive experience with the creation, structuring and reorganization of mutual funds (UCITS / non-UCITS) and other collective investment structures (incl. alternative investment funds (AIFs)), including structuring and drafting of investment mandates and management agreements, etc.. He has extensive experience and expertise related to regulatory framework for financial institutions, investment firms, fund management companies, stock exchange / regulated markets, and foundations, as well as transactions (M & A) and reorganizations related to the aforementioned enterprises and institutions.
Wiese-Hansen also has a broad and specialized expertise related to insurance and pension, and has assisted a number of Norwegian and foreign life- and non-life insurance companies and other actors. Wiese-Hansen also provides legal advice to other entities related to pensions, non-life and life-insurance. He assists with dispute resolution and litigation within his specialist areas.
