Dennis A. Quintero is a partner in the Corporate & Commercial Practice Group. He heads its Mining & Metals/Natural Resources Practice. He has represented a number of clients engaged in the natural resources industry (mining and metals, oil and gas, coal, petrochemicals, and clean development mechanism). Mr. Quintero is also a certified public accountant with experience in tax compliance work.

Practice Focus

Mr. Quintero has extensive experience in due diligence, project finance, capital raising through stock market listing/private placements, joint venture and shareholder agreements, option agreements, operating agreements, and farm-in/farm-out agreements for natural resources projects. He advises clients on cross-border acquisitions of shares/assets as well as on structuring investments and divestments in a range of industries, including natural resources, infrastructure, public utilities, electronics, construction/property development, and business process outsourcing. He is also experienced in structuring investments in partially nationalized business activities, land access, indigenous peoples/native title, engagement of government regulators, and local government/local community consents.
