Juan Pablo Cadena

Ivan Marinov

Ivan Marinov joined Delchev & Partners in 2005. He deals with civil and commercial law and litigation and specializes in competition, unfair competition and intellectual property law.

Ivan Marinov is involved in the predominant part of the civil and commercial litigation in Delchev & Partners’ cases before arbitration and state courts throughout Bulgaria. He has profound experience in building the ultimate strategies for defense based on the most appropriate combination of facts, evidence, existing case law, the counter party’s omissions and a most uncompromising and meticulous focus on the smallest details. He has been involved in numerous cases of great complexity from factual, evidential and legal perspective and throughout the years has managed to combine experience with innovation in the field of litigation.

Ivan Marinov deals with any aspects of competition and unfair competition law and their interrelation with commercial and intellectual property law. Ivan Marinov has also advised several acquisitions from a competition perspective and the notifications thereof to the national competition regulator. He also advises clients on a daily basis on unfair competition rules in the business-to-consumers and business-to-business practices, eg denigration, deceit, misleading and comparative advertising, passing-off/imitation, unfair inducement of customers, etc. He has also been involved in the training of clients’ personnel on matters related to competition law and unfair competition. Stanley Lai

Dr Stanley Lai, SC is the Head of the Intellectual Property practice. Stanley specialises in all forms of IP litigation and information technology disputes, and is also a commercial litigator. He also maintains a strong advisory practice for IP management and strategy, serving a broad spectrum of clients. In the biomedical sector, Stanley has substantial experience in advising on healthcare and medical regulatory issues concerning medicines, medical devices, clinical trials, product recalls and product liability.

Stanley is also a member of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre lP Panel and Singapore Copyright Tribunal, and a director of Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd (SGX-Listed). He has published extensively on IP and information technology law, including the book entitled “The Copyright Protection of Computer Software in the United Kingdom”, and an article entitled “Publisher reigned in on racing data copyright claim”. Hemant Singh

Hemant Singh, the founder member of the firm, joined the bar in 1984 and has been exclusively practicing in the field of Intellectual Property Rights for more than two and a half decades. Till 1991, he was a partner in an IP law firm where after, he established INTTL ADVOCARE, an IPR law firm based at New Delhi, India. Omer Hızıroglu
